Packing & Postage Guide
Option 1: Play // Pause Packing Kit (Recommended*)
• Includes crash-lock box, self-adhesive strip, bubble sleeves, padding material, and packing guide.
• Pre-paid return label included for easy shipping.
• Tested to fit VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, and Video8.
• £10–18 per kit (includes materials + prepaid shipping). Price depends on tape quantity.
Option 2: Your Own Packaging (At Your Risk**)
• Use a strong cardboard box
• Wrap each tape individually with bubble wrap or protective padding.
• Fill empty space with kraft paper or padding.
• Clearly label the inside with your order reference.
Packaging & Transit.
We take care with every order, but once your tapes are in transit, the risk sits with the courier. If you use your own packaging, you’re responsible for making sure it’s secure. Our packing kits are designed to minimise risk, but even then, we can’t cover loss or damage caused by the courier. We’ll always do what we can to support a claim if something goes wrong.

Our kits are designed for safe transit, but Play // Pause is not liable for courier mishandling or loss. If damage occurs, we’ll help you submit a claim to the courier. Using our kit ensures your order is packaged to our standards, which helps us process it faster.
**Option 2: Use Your Own Box
Play // Pause cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by inadequate packaging when customers use their own boxes.
Note: If your box is sturdy, we’ll reuse it for the return. If it’s too damaged for safe shipping, we’ll re-pack your tapes into one of our own boxes. In that case, a small packing fee may apply.
